Well, iv been in the delayed entry program for the Marines since June, and i leave in January 2010. We do pt here 6 days a week, but recently its been lack luster so iv had to work out on my own (which i already did anyway). A freind at the recruiting station let me borrow their copy, and i tried it for just a few days and was feeling aches in places i havent felt in a while.
the plyometric tape is very close to the exercise styles we did at the Marine training sessions, the yoga is very relaxing and hits the muscles that normal exercise misses. I havent tried kenpo or some of the other things yet, since im only into its first week, but already im feeling the burn. The cardio x is an amazing burn for those days when you either cant/dont feel like running. Granted you wont get as huge as you would of if you had just hit the gym and did nothing but lifts every time you went, however, with the program your getting more then strength.
Your improving your joints, flexibility, endurance, stamina, cardiovascular fitness, strength, definition, etc.. all with one workout routine. If you play any competetive sports, or like me, are in the military or trying to be, its a great program becuase it hits all the spots necessary for performance in an environment where your entire body could be used to perform a task.
My personal opinion: If your skinny and want to just build muscle without worrying about flexibility, stamina, running, etc.., it will work, but its not the optimal way, i found the 5×5 routine best for that.
If your looking for an overall body workout to help you not just look good, but perform good, it does the trick. The only thing i could add is to get out and run in addition to it now and then (there really is no true substitute for running)
