Chopper Tattoo V Tattoo Me Now - Who’s best?
The 2 best selling tattoo galleries, Chopper Tattoo and Tattoo Me Now may look pretty similar at first glance but whatâ??s the real difference? Most people look for a number of specific things in a tattoo collection. These include artwork quality, community, tattoo resources and the bonuses. Letâ??s see how these two sites compare on these factors.
Chopper Tattoo has a reputation for quality artwork. Go to any review site and the first thing they’ll tell you is about the awards Chopper has. That said, there is nothing wrong with Tattoo Me Now art. With loads of images on their website, check it out for yourself. Sign up to their site to get sent some free designs for a closer look.
The big feature of Tattoo Me Now is resources. It gives you a number of tattoo resources unavailable elsewhere on the net. The “Video Vault” lets you watch and upload videos in 12 categories. There is a large international “Studio Directory” with a rate and review section so you can see what members think and see which studios are recommended in your town. Other resources include a large library of tattoo news and articles, audio books and tattoo info eBooks.
On the other hand the resources at Chopper are more limited and also include a Tattoo Artists’ Directory, which members can also rate, and a “Customized Lettering” feature that provides you with a large number of lettering ideas so you can customize words and phrases. So, on this score the winner has got to be Tattoo Me Now.
While a community is not a big deal for some, others enjoy spending hours getting and sharing ideas and photos. Chopper does not have a community but Tattoo Me Now certainly does. It has its own members’ gallery that lets you upload your own tattoo photos and review other members’. This is a separate photo gallery from the design collection and is contained in 38 different categories for easy browsing.
Bonuses offered by Chopper include an online tattoo magazine, “Inked”, and MP3 music downloads. Tattoo Me Now give you 3 eBooks: “You & Your Tattoo: What You Need To Know” eBook and audio file, the eBook “Got Ink” and “Chinese Names and Words” eBook. So, the two sites are pretty equal on the extras.
Each website has well over 100,000 visits a month so there are plenty of user comments on the net. Some comments appeared regularly for both. Chopper had loads of testimonials saying how easy it was to navigate and how members had quickly found their “perfect tattoo”. Tattoo Me Now feedback talked mostly about being good value for money with so much offered for the price.
In the end it comes down to not who is better than the other - it depends on what you want. Neither is going to short change you if you are after great designs but if artwork matters most to you, Chopper Tattoo must be a first choice. Tattoo Me Now is a fuller package offering loads of info and a buzzing community. So if you’re looking for more than a gallery, make that your first choice. Donâ??t forget that both offer a full guarantee so even if youâ??re not 100% satisfied itâ??s easy to get your money back. Â
For more info on both sites visit TattooDesignReport.com. Plus the site has reports and info on a dozen other leading ink sites. Reports include site reviews, real user feedback, company info and full package details.

Should I get the herstyler straightener or not?!?!?
I fell in love with a herstyler straightener I found online
http://www.amazon.com/HerStyler-Tattoo-Ceramic-Straightener-Straightening/dp/B0029MV27C/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&s=hpc&qid=1242948479&sr=1-3
It’s amazing right? beautiful even. But since I had never heard of the brand I’ve been researching like crazy the past few days. I have found either REALLY GREAT AMAZING reviews or ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE reviews on this brand of straighteners.
I’ve read things about the on/off switch breaking off, the straightener not turning on at all after a few months, the ceramic cracking for no reason, the straightener not even working, the ceramic turning brown, etc..etc.. things that would not make you want to spend so much $$$ on a straightener..then a bunch of stories of how "i thought i was still okay because I had my 1 year warranty" and some people " AND they even offered to do my hair for FREE any time I want!!!" but then they realize that the emails on the herstyler website are fake and the customer service people are assholes that won’t give you your money back. Oh and as for the people who were offered to get their hair done anytime they want…well they realized the people working at the mall kiosk were long gone…
but THEN there’s the reviews on how this is THE BEST straightener, even better than the CHI, how it leaves your hair looking super smooth and pretty and it lasts like that for days even if it’s humid. That it’s way better than any straightener they’ve ever used and it only broke because they’re boyfriend dropped it once but even that was after using it roughly (and dropping it a lot) for 5 years, otherwise it would still be like new AND that they plan on getting a new one but with the same brand…
So I’m stuck. I’ve read so many good/bad reviews, I have no idea what to choose. Plus all the reviews were for Herstyler but not for this exact straightener. I’ve looked and looked and couldn’t find any reviews for this straightener except some girl who said it’s been working great for years…but then again she wanted to sell it to me over ebay for 80$ with a 3 day return policy…3 days? no thank you… The most I’ve ever spent on a straightener is $50, but I REALLY LOVE the design this one has. So I want to buy it but I also want it to last me a few years. What do you recommend?
P.S. Please also if you know of any other straighteners or flat irons that have cool designs on them let me know so I can find them online. If I can find other straighteners with really cool designs (not just zebra stripes or cheetah spots..I’ve seen those too much), then it’ll help me forget about this straightener and move on to the other cool-y designed one that doesn’t have so many mixed reviews.
Thank you so much for all your help, and yes I will choose a Best Answer if you providereally good insight or another really amazingly designed straightening iron..or both
P.P.S. Oh! I forgot! I don’t have crazy curly hair. My hair is just really thick and long, and gets really wavy and frizzy. I’ve also never been that great at styling my hair so a flat iron is a really quick way to make it look good. Thank u!
I have it, Iv had it since Decemeber still works, and i love it!
but if you want your hair really straight you have to take your time and go really slow or else it doesnt work as well
p.s. i have curly hair too.
addison texas???
so i took my tattoo design into bob shaw’s tattoo studio in addison tx today and i can’t seem to find any reviews about them except what’s on their myspace. i was wondering if anyones been there or heard of it, and what they thought about the quality and cleanliness of the place?
never heard of them. however when it’s time to get my next tattoo i’ll be going to cat tattoo in addison which is a 3 hour drive for me. i have been very impressed with some of their artist’s work.
Looking for a tattoo artist/place in or around Atlanta (North Side) that someone can recommend.?
I can get a great list through Yahoo of local places - but none of them really have any reviews online. So does anyone have any local expereinces that they can share? It’s a simple design of nothing but words in a small circle on my posterior.
All or Nothing Tattoos in S. Cobb dr in Smyrna. Brandon Bond and Dave Tedder are 2 of the best around!
Should I switch tattoo shops?
Ok, here goes it: I had a tattoo shop lined up & have been there probably 5 times to work on the design & whatnot with an artist. Today, I told my boss I’m getting the tat this Friday, and when I told him the shop I was going to he was like "oh don’t go there, I knew a couple people that went there who’s tats faded bad in 6 months and their black turned to green.." Then he talked about a guy he knows at another shop I was previously gonna check out.. said I should just go there instead. He was raving about this guy & the shop.
Well, I feel bad just ditching the first guy after 5 visits. The first shop got good reviews online and dude’s portfolio looked pretty good, which is why I chose them.. Should I lie and say money’s tight suddenly, or just not go back, or continue on with the original shop anyway?
Hi. I agree with someone else’s comment about the risk of hurting someones feeling against a permanent mark on you.
However if you have spent 5 sessions going over the design Im sure its very specific, my advice would be to go back to the shop ask to get the design off them (there will most probably be a charge for the time spent doing the design) and just tell them you have to cancel for reasons that can’t be discussed or if you would rather tell the truth go ahead.
Hope it all works out for you
Tattoo on my 18th Birthday?
ok, so my 18th birthday is in about a month. I’ve spent about 4 years carefully planning out my tattoo. I know I want it, I know where I want it, and what I want it of. I’ve designed it myself, and I am not hesitant at all about getting it. So please don’t say I’m not ready or rushing into things. Anyways, I decided after a lot of good reviews/recommendations from friends, that I am going to get my tattoo on my actual 18th birthday, at a local parlor near my house. I looked their website up online, and it says ‘no kids allowed in the shop’. Well, I’m going to need to come in about a week or two before hand to give them my design so they can draw it out, as well as make an appointment. Do you think this will be fine, although I will be a week or so shy of being legal? Should I call before-hand? It also said something about a deposit if you have your own design. Any ideas on how much that will cost? Please let me know. I’m also kind of scared that the artists are going to be scary and mean, even though i’ve had two people tell me they were awesome. Any good first tattoo advice? And please inform me on the over 18 in the shop rule. I know that you can’t go into a porn shop until you are literally 18, and I hope tattoo shops aren’t the same way, since they do have occasional nude artwork.
THANKS!
i give 10’s by the way.
ohhh, and the tattoo is going to be a barcode on the back of my neck.
above it is going to be my first and middle name, and then below it, my birthday for the numbers. let me know what you think =)
they should have no problem with you going into the shop to discuss business, after all it is their job. all you would be doing is setting up your appt and giving them your design and deposit.
i think your deposit shouldnt exceed 50 bucks.
i must warn you, if youre going to a reputable shop, theyre likely to reject your idea or design. the back of your neck is a considerably small area to work with, and with you wanting two full names and your DOB, that kind of detail would likely require more room.
good luck.
Picking Your Dream Tattoo Design
Tattoos are very common these days, with nearly 1 in 4 people having at least one. Tattoos represent an art form, and allow people to broadcast who they are. Even though they are popular, most people will end up regretting them. In most cases, those who regret tattoos didnâ??t think about their design or take the time to choose the best tattoo for them. Even though it is possible to get a tattoo removed, the process is expensive and quite painful. To prevent this from happening, you should always take some time and find the perfect tattoo â?? your dream design.
Instead of trying to save some money, you should never choose a studio or artist based on how cheap they are. Cheaper artists and studios normally lack in work quality, which is why they are able to charge cheaper prices. Instead, you should look for the best studio and artist that you can find close to your area. Even though it may be expensive â?? the quality and design will be well worth it.
For some, their dream design is a person. This can be a loved one or someone who has passed on. You can always use a design or symbol that means something to you and reminds you of them or you can always use their face. Good tattoo artists can make magical tattoos with meaning, whether it is someoneâ??s face or a symbol that brings out meaning.
Sometimes, it can be hard picking out your dream design. If you have an idea in mind but are still not sure what you want, you can always research. You can get tattoo books, theme books, magazines, or just research online. By looking at designs you may find something similar to what you are interested in. Once you have found it, all you need to do is sit down with your tattoo artists and come up with your dream tattoo design.
If you have a basic idea for something small in mind, you can always have it tattooed then come back later and have more added on. The best thing about tattoos is the fact that they can always be added to later. This can be a great thing if you want to try a smaller tattoo first, and then decide whether or not you want to get it bigger. If you start with a fraction of your dream design, you can always finish it up later on.
Whenever you get your dream tattoo you should always take time selecting the design. Tattoos will stay with you forever, which is why you should pick them carefully. If you put the necessary time and thought into it now, you wonâ??t regret it later. Your dream design should be very important, and hold meaning. This way, every time you look at it â?? youâ??ll be reminded of that special moment in time and youâ??ll never forget about it.
